Series: The Kingwood Duet #1
Author: S.L. Scott
Genre: Romantic Suspense
Release Date: July 5, 2017
Welcome to the mysterious world of the rich and the damned in this gritty, modern day fairy tale.
Two star-crossed lovers will either find their destiny or meet their fate in a world where demons come in the form of familiar faces and pawns aren’t just players, but deadly.
She was my destiny.
I was her downfall.
We were a match made in hell.
But when we were together, that hell was pure heaven.
The moment I laid eyes on her, I knew she would pay the price for my sins. I wasn’t much older than she was, but old enough to know better.
Old enough to know she would be good for me and I was bad for her. But I pursued her anyway. Back then I had hope that maybe she could change my future.
Maybe together we could change our fate . . .
Best Read This Year!
Wow! This is one of the best books i've read this year. I was hooked from start to finish, I couldn't read it fast enough. It was so intense I almost skipped to end, but managed to restrain myself, glad that I did. The storyline & character's worked really well together. I was on the edge of my seat, through the whole book, I couldn't stop reading it till the end.
It was intense, suspenseful, sexy, emotionally charged & the secrets Alexander kept about drove me nut's, wondering what they were. The love Sarah Jane & Alexander (King) had for each other came through the pages. They were definitely made for each other. The up's & down's they faced, were rough, but worth the challenge.
Even the secondary character's fit right in with the storyline. This was one hot read. If I had to pick only one book to read this year this would be it. If I could give it more then Five star's I would. It end's in a cliffhanger so be warned. I can't wait for the next book in this duet... I won an ARC copy for honest review... ~ Wonderful World of Books
